FAQ

Common questions.

If yours isn't here, give us a call.

How do I get a quote?

+

Send the lot address and any photos you have through the quote form, by email, or by phone. We measure your lot from satellite — no need for an in-person site visit before the quote — and send a written quote back with itemized line items.

When is the season for parking lot striping in NL?

+

May through October, weather permitting. We don't paint when the pavement is below 10°C, when rain is forecast within 4 hours, when the surface is damp, or when the wind is over 25 km/h (overspray risk). Typical NL season we hit ~85% of weekdays.

How long does the paint last?

+

In NL — heavy snow plowing and salt — expect 18–24 months on most lots before the lines need a refresh. Higher-traffic lots (drive-thru queues, large grocery anchors) wear faster, especially the entry lanes. Most customers re-stripe every 2 years.

What kind of paint do you use?

+

Sherwin-Williams Setfast acrylic traffic paint — industry standard. Low odour, dries in 30 minutes, holds up to NL winters. Lot reopens to traffic the same day. We carry white, yellow, and blue.

Do you do new layouts, not just re-stripes?

+

Yes. New asphalt, expansions, full re-layouts. We measure, chalk-line, and paint to spec — including ADA-compliant accessible stall layouts.

How long does the work take?

+

Most small lots (15–30 stalls): half a day. Medium (30–60 stalls): full day. Large (75+ stalls): one to two days. We schedule for after-hours / weekends if your business needs the lot open during weekdays.

Do I have to be on site?

+

No. Once the quote is approved we can do the work whenever the lot is empty. We send before/after photos the day of completion.

How do I pay?

+

E-transfer, cheque, or bank deposit. Net-15 from job completion. We send an invoice the day of the job.

Are you insured?

+

Coverage details available on request — please call or email and we'll send the relevant certificate before any work starts.

Do you do warehouse / indoor floor markings?

+

Not yet — that's a year-2 expansion. For now we focus on outdoor parking lot striping and pavement markings.

What about driveway sealing?

+

We focus on line painting and pavement markings. For driveway sealing, we're happy to recommend a local NL operator who specializes in it.
